FOSTERING  THE FUTURE
Brendan Acosta Scholarship

Many children within the Foster care community strive for, desire, and have the aptitude for furthering their education, but may lack the financial ability to pursue their desired path. Fostering the Future recognizes this need and awards scholarships to those seeking to continue their education. The scholarship program is in its inaugural year and is funded by private parties and local businesses.

THE CHILDREN’S SERVICES AUXILIARY
Joan Gendreau Scholarship

In 2013 Children’s Services Auxiliary celebrated its 30th year anniversary. The Children’s Services Auxiliary board members wanted to recognize founding member, Joan Gendreau, for her continuous support of Foster children by creating a scholarship program in her name. Joan’s passion, integrity and compassion for making a difference in a child’s life is what sets her apart.
